Resource Development Committee
The Resource Development Committee is responsible for:
- Creating and implementing plans for the acquisition and recommended use of resources needed by the collaborative; dollars, people, and things
- Creating a business plan or sustainability plan with concrete action steps, including who, when, and what. Plans in terms of the type of resource development activity must be approved by CFYCD and a majority of the CFY Board. Activities might include: detailed listing of what we currently want to sustain and plan; areas for expansion; development of diversified plan with multiple revenue streams
- Actively recruit volunteers and collaborative members for specific elements of carrying out plan. Would put forward recommended materials to board(s) for approval
- Helping to identify best collaborative members/partners to assist with asks
- Identifying and pursuing possible sources of support
- Working with resource development consultant and Executive Director
- Establishing a business plan to support federal grant reporting and future funding proposals
Collaborative Development Committee
The Collaborative Development Committee focuses on both internal and external functions and is responsible for the following:
Internal Functions
- Developing membership levels, recruitment and training materials, outreach for new members, assessments of coalition functioning and training plan development
- Developing a recognition plan for members and partners
- Recommending changes in structure or functioning
- Recommending a slate of officers and members for leadership positions.
- Assisting with Cultural Competency building
- Working with staff and or Executive Director
External Outreach
- Developing an "elevator speech" and general collaborative materials
- Developing and managing a speaker’s bureau for the collaborative
- Outreaching to Adams County through multiple venues about the collaborative and the work of the collaborative
- Educating public through media, speakers bureau other venues on topics agreed upon by collaborative where enough expertise exist within collaborative for speakers, presenters
- Working with Media Specialist for CFY
Outcomes and Evaluation Committee
The Outcomes and Evaluation Committee is responsible for:
- Hiring and supervising evaluator
- Monitoring grants and other programs for progress towards outcomes
- Agreeing upon evaluation plans
- Developing materials for release with regards to outcomes and evaluation
- Working with evaluator and Executive Director
