Background

Cannerval is a celebration of and for the Upper Adams Community. This event is organized by Upper Adams Collaborating for Youth Community Team and the Upper Adams School District, and is sponsored by local businesses. 

The purpose of Cannerval is to showcase youth achievement and to build bonds between the students, school, and the larger community.  Because the community, school, and students plan and carry out the activities, Cannerval builds a stronger sense of community.

Everyone is invited to attend!

Cannerval offers a family-friendly atmosphere with games, food, and entertainment for all ages!  Activities include a pie-eating contest, a student-run car show, Powder Puff football, and more!

Non-profit and school groups are invited to take part by setting up a fundraiser for your group or for the school (we recommend inexpensive games or activities), or simply by networking and getting your message out to the community.

When is Cannerval?

Cannerval always takes place the Wednesday before Memorial Day from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., rain or shine.
